FAU is a member of various national networks

• Since 2012 a member of the “Diversity an Hochschulen” (Diversity at institutes of higher education) working group at the operational level
• Since 2016 a member of the “Netzwerk zu Diversity und Diversity Management an Universitäten) (Network on diversity and diversity management at universities) at the management level

• Networking in the area of internationalization
• Networking in the area of sexual orientation and gender identity
• Networking in the area of social background and education
