Students at FAU bring with them a wide variety of backgrounds and life circumstances. To create an environment in which all members of the university community feel welcome and valued and can address their concerns openly, the Office for Gender and Diversity (BGD) is providing all teaching staff with a slide deck for a diversity-sensitive introduction to courses. This slide deck is part of the Awareness Toolbox. Right in time for the start of the lecture period, the slides were sent to all instructors by the Vice President People, Prof. Dr. Andreas Hirsch.
The slide deck offers ready-to-use materials as well as further information and practical suggestions.
